Script CGI Perl Gendex.pl

If you currently publish your Gedcom file
with Ged2www, Gedpage, Ged2HTML,
Gedbrowser, Ged4Web or any other
genealogy program that generates a Gendex
file, this small Perl script will simplify search
in your (many) files

Installation


1) Copy the script and put-it in the same directory of your genealogy publication with the file gendex.txt

2) Choose the ASCII mode to upload your files on the server (exemple with WS_FTP95)


3) CHMOD 755 gendex.pl
(This operation is doing to active the script on the server)

Click on the right bouton of your mouse and choose optionCHMOD UNIX




Puis cocher les cases de la manière suivante:

This is CHMOD 755

After write a small formular to ask your script

it's all
